Things around us do not have to knock us off our feet. Funny I should say that, as six days ago I tripped over my feet and landed hard upon the ground. But that's another story. We each have control over how we react to the world outside, seemingly chaos or not. Being blown about like a leaf in the wind is the same as being a victim. A leaf in the wind is out of control, subject to all kinds of buffeting and bumping. A leaf in a stream is going with the flow. Sometimes it is necessary to let go of planning an outcome to discover the new places to learn and be. How about a leaf in bud stage? It is curled up, full of potential, ready emerge to soak up the sun and do its part to nourish the tree.
